MAEUN TTEOKBOKKI – SPICY RICE CAKE

Bahan/ingredients:
150 gr topokki, potong. 150 gr korean rice cake (topokki), cut.

10 iris fish cake. 10 slice fish cake.
2 siung bwng putih, cincang. 2 cloves garlic, chop.
1 bh bawang bombay ukuran sedang, potong. ½ pcs onion medium size, slice.
100 ml air panas.

Saus/sauce:
1½ sdm gochujang (pasta cabe korea). 1½ tbsp gochujang (korean chili paste).

1 sdm gochugaru (bubuk cabe korea), sesuai selera. 1 tbsp gochugaru (korean chili powder) taste to desire.
2 sdt kecap ikan. 2 tsp fish sauce.
2 sdt minyak wijen. 2 tsp sesame oil.
1 sdt kecap asin. 1 tsp soy sauce.
¼ sdt garam. ¼ salt
1 sdm saus Topokki . 1 tbsp Topokki sauce.

Pelengkap/complimentary:
20 gr timun jepang, iris korek api. 20 gr japanese cucumber (kyuri), julienne.
10 gr wortel, iris korek api, rebus sebentar dan rendam air es, tiriskan. 10 gr carrot, julienne, boiling awhile and soak on cold water, strain.
2 btg daun bawang, iris. 2 stalks scallion, slice.
Biji wijen sangrai secukupnya. Some roasted sesame seed.

Cara/Method:
1. Tumis bawang bombay dan bawang putih hingga layu masukan air, masukkan topokki, aduk. Saute onion and garlic, until wilted, add rice cake, stir.
2. Campur bahan sau dlm mangkuk kecil. Mix sauce on small bowl,
3. Masukkan saus dan aduk rata. Add sauce and stir well.
4. Tambahkan garam dan masak hingga air menyusut dan kuah menjadi kental. Add salt and cook until the water recede and the sauce becomes thick.
5. Sajikan panas dgn pelengkap. Serve hot with complimentary.
