Perkedel Kare – Curry Potato Cakes

 PERKEDEL KARE – CURRY POTATO CAKE

Bahan/ingredient
500 grm kentang, kukus, haluskan. 500 gr mashed potato.
1 kuning telur (putihnya sisihkan utk pencelup).
1 egg yolk (seperate, white egg for batter)
2 sdm seledri iris halus(kalo suka).
2 tbs celery slice
Garam dan lada secukupnya. Some salt and pepper
1/2 buah pala, haluskan. 1/2 pcs nutmeg, ground.
1 sdt kare bubuk. 1 tsp curry powder.

Bumbu halus/ground spices:
1 sdm bwg merah goreng. 1 tbs fried shallot
1 sdm bwg putih goreng. 1 tbs fried garlic

Cara/Method:
1. Ulek bumbu halus dan campur ke bahan kentang serta bahan lain. Finely grated fried shallot and garlic and mix with mashed potato and the other igredient
2. Kepal dan bentuk sesuai selera. Shape as desired
3. Simpan di frezer 10-15 menit saja. Refrigerate for 10-15 minutes
4. Panaskan minyak cukup banyak (teknik goreng nya DEEPFRY). Preheat oil for deepfry.
5. Keluarkan perkedel dr frezer, celupkan pada putih telur dan lgsg msk ke minyak panas, biarkan smp seluruh permukaan perkedel berkulit baru boleh dibalik. Take out from frezzer, deep into white egg (batter) and add into hot oil, fry until golden brown

TIPS menggoreng perkedel/TIPS fry potato cakes:

1. Sblm dicelup putih telur dan goreng simpan di frezer 10-15 menit.
Before deep into batter, refrigerate around 10-15 minutes
2. Selama menggoreng perkedel jangan sering membolak balik.
During frying patties do not often flipping through .
3. Minyak  hrs byk dan  hrs menutup seluruh permukaan perkedel.
