Gateau au Beurre Prune – Prune Butter Cake

Bahan/ingredients:
4 btr kuning telur. 4 pcs egg yolk.
140 gr gula pasir. 140 gr granulated sugar.
165 gr mentega asin /suhu ruang. 165 gr salted butter (anchor) room temperature.
200 gr tepung utk kue. 200 gr cake flour (kuci biru)
2 sdm rhum bakar. 2 tbsp baked rhum.
60 gr almon bubuk. 60gr almond powder.
1 btr kuning telur utk olesan. 1 pcs egg yolk for glazing.
6 buah prune kering, belah. 6 pcs dried prune, cut.

Cara/method:
1. Panaskan oven 180C, Oles loyan ukuran 16 inch dgn mentega. Preheat oven 180C. greasing the pan size 16 inch.
2. Kocok telur dan gula. Masukkan mentega, aduk. Masukkan tepung, garam dan rhum. Aduk rata. (Hanya dgn whisk)beaten egg and sugar. Add butter, stir. Add flour, salt and rhu. Stir well (Using whisk only)
3. Tuang ½ adonan ke dalam loyang, beri prune dan tutup dgn sisa adonan, ratakan dan beri aksen dgn goresan garpu. Pour half batter on pan, add dried prune and pour remaining batter, flatten and make strong strokes with fork.
6. Oles permukaan kue dgn kuning telur kocok dan oven selama 45-50 menit atau hingga bagian permukaan kecoklatan. Greasing with the beaten egg yolk on top of cake and bake for 45-50 minutes or until the top off cake turns brown.
