Momo Yakitori – Japanese Grilled Chicken Thigh


MOMO YAKITORI – JAPANESE GRILLED CHICKEN THIGH

Bahan/ingredients:
350gr daging paha ayam tanpa tulang (suhu ruang). 350 gr boneless skinless chicken thighs (at room temperature)
2 btg daun bawang besar, potong 2,5 cm. 2 stalks spring onion, cut 2,5 cm.
8 potong paprika merah. 8 pcs red bell pepper.
8 btg tusuk sate. 8 pcs skewer.

Bumbu perendam/marinate:
1½ sdt bawang putih bubuk. 1½ tsp powdered garlic.
½ sdt jahe bubuk. ½ tsp powdered ginger.
1 sdm kecap kikkoman. 1 tbsp kikkoman soy saude.
⅛ sdt lada bubuk. ½ tsp pepper powder.
1 sdm sake. 1 tbsp sake.

Saus Yakitori/Yakitori Sauce (Tare):
1sdm kecap kikkoman. 1sdm kikkoman soy sauce.
½ sdm mirin. ½ tbsp mirin.
½ sdm sake. ½ tbsp sake
2 sdt gula merah. 2 tsp brown sugar.
½ sdm madu. ½ tbsp honey

Cara/method:
1. Rendam tusuk sate sekitar 30 menit. Soak skewer on water around 30 minutes.

2. Potong paha ayam. Cut the chicken thigh.
3. Campur paha ayam dgn bumbu perendam dan diamkan di lemari es selama 30menit. Marinate chicken thigh for 30 minutes in the fridge.
4. Tusuk bahan seperti di foto. Place the ingredients in the skewer as pictured.

5. Campur bahan saus yakitori. Mix yakitori sauce.
6. Panggang yakitori nya diatas api hingga matang dan oles dgn saus yakitori, panggang lagi. Grill yakitori until it is cooked, smear the sauce over and grill again.
