Putu Bambu – Bamboo Rice Cake

PUTU BAMBU  – BAMBOO RICE CAKE 

Bahan/ingredients:
250 gr beras putih. 250 gr white rice.
50 gr gula merah. 50 gr brown sugar.
50 ml air. 50 ml water.
Kelapa parut secukupnya. Some grated coconut.
½ sdt garam. ½ tsp salt.
2 lbr daun pandan. 2 pcs pandan leaf

Cara/method:
1. Rendam beras semalam dan tumbuk halus. Soak the rice overnight and finely mashed.
2. Didihkan air bersama garam dan daun pandan. Diamkan hingga hangat. Boiling water with salt and pandan leaf.
3. Tuang air hangat pada tepung beras dan aduk dgn tangan hingga berbutir, lakukan hingga air habis. Siapkan saringan kasar, saring adonan hingga berbutir. Pour the warm water on the rice flour and stir in the hands until grained, do until the water runs out. Prepare a coarse filter, strain the dough until it is grained.
4. Isi ½ selongsong bambu, beri gula merah dan tutup dgn Adonan beras dan kukus 10 menit. Fill ½ bamboo sleeve, give brown sugar and cover with rice  and steam 10 minutes.
5. Sajikan dgn kelapa parut. Serving with grated coconut.
