Sambel Tempong

SAMBAL TEMPONG

Bahan/ingredients:
15 buah cabai rawit merah. 15 pcs of red cayenne.
4 buah bawang merah, 4 pcs of shallot.
1 siung bawang putih. 1 cloves of garlic.
1 buah tomat merah ukuran sedang. 1 pcs of medium red tomato.
3 lembar daun jeruk, iris halus. 3 pcs lime leaves, finely slice.
2 sdm minyak sayur. 2 tbsp veggie oil.
¼ sdt garam. ¼ tsp salt.
Gula secukupnya. Some sugar.
½ sdt terasi bakar. ½ tsp roast belacan.
Air jeruk nipis secukupnya. Some lime juice.

Cara/method:
1. Potong kasar bawang merah, bawang putih, cabe dan tomat. Tumis bersama daun jeruk hingga lembek. Cut the onion, garlic, chili and tomatoes roughly. Saute with lime leave until soft.
2. Campur semua bahan dan ulek kasar. Beri air jeruk nipis dan aduk rata. Mix all ingredients and roughly ground, add lime juice and mix well.

3. Sambal tempong siap dinikmati dengan lauk pendamping. Sambal tempong ready to serve with other side dish.
