Prik Nam Pla Kung – Thai Spicy Shrimp


PRIK NAM PLA KUNG – THAI SPICY SHRIMP

Bahan/ingredients:
20 ekor udang ukuran sedang, kupas sisa ekor dan buang urat hitam, belah bagian punggung. 20 medium-sized shrimp, peeled and remaining tails and discard black veins, divide the back.
500 ml air untuk merebus udang. 500 ml water for boiling the shrimps.
1 sdt garam. 1 tsp salt.

Bahan prik nam pla/prik nam pla ingredients:
5 buah cabai merah, iris. 5 pcs red cayenne, slice.
10 buah cabai hijau, iris. 10 pcs green cayenne, slice.
6 siung bawang putih, cincang kasar. 6 cloves of garlic, roughly chopped.
2 sdm kecap ikan. 2 tbsp fish sauce.
1 sdm kecap asin. 1 tbsp soy sauce.
1 sdm air. 1 tbsp water.
2 sdm air lemon/jeruk nipis. 2 tbsp lemon juice/lime juice.

Cara/method:
1. Didihkan air dan garam. Masukkan udang dan rebus hingga berubah warna, angkat dan masukkan ke dalam air dingin, tiruskan. Boil water and salt. Add shrimp and boil until it changes color, lift and put in cold water, drain.
2. Campur bahan prik nam pla. Mix prik nam pla ingredients.
3. Letakkan udang rebus diatas piring dan siramkan prik nam pla diatas udang. Place the boiled shrimp on a plate and pour the prik nam pla onto the shrimp.
